Ben Stiller is getting set for the April 4 start date of a play that’s close to his heart: John Guare’s The House of Blue Leaves. Before he became a movie star, Stiller played young Ronnie Shaughnessy in Lincoln Center Theater's 1986 revival of the the wacky comedy; now he’ll star as his former character’s dad, aspiring composer Artie Shaughnessy, in a Broadway revival at the Walter Kerr Theatre, co-starring with Edie Falco and Jennifer Jason Leigh. On March 23, Stiller visited Late Night with David Letterman to chat about his family’s pre-Broadway move from L.A. to the Connecticut suburbs and muse on his lifelong fear of ghosts. Stiller and Dave touch on Blue Leaves in the final minute of their very funny chat. Take a look.
